My Drawers

Post by crzypete »

I have spent a tad too much time organizing drawers in my shop.(and you thought this would be a post about my underwear) here are some pics from my mechanics tool chest. I am going to hold off on the woodworking layout tools and such for a day or two.......

Pete, it's beautiful but we gotta talk. You got to much time on your hands. OK I'm just jealous.

Many years ago Pete inspired me to organize my shop tools. Unfortunately my roll around lives in my metal shop which is separate from my wood shop. My solution was to have duplicate set of the most used tools in the wood studio for routine maintenance. The tray pulls out and can be brought to the machine in need of repair. I occasionally have to bring the big roll around down to the wood shop but is amazing how much work can be done with just a few tools.

Don't worry... That is an old picture because if i took it now the tray would be mostly empty..I guess Katrina was a really big storm.. Perhaps we should start a thread and see who can make the biggest mess.
