Hey Reg, How did you cut out the part- I think a little technical information might be invaluable in helping other members create there own. This looks like a great intro to metal working project for a woodworker.

This one was cut on a mill. The slot was cut with a 1/4 endmill and the top rounded with a file....If I had one this would be the job for a plasma cutter. After I rough milled it I used a grinder
