I needed an arbor for my G4B s/n 5830 to fix a blade runout problem and chanced to come upon a BGS 78 s/n 12255 saw for little money.
I don't think the BGS 78 has been mentioned in this forum so I thought you Hammond Junkies would be interested.
The BGS 78 is a benchtop, fixed blade, sliding table saw. The arbor and motor mounts are fixed and welded in place. The sliding table has the steel ways and is the same depth as the G4B but is about 2 inches narrower. The micrometer is shorter, also.

The arbor internals fixed my G4B blade runout problem. I've been trying to think of something useful I can make using the sliding table, but nothing so far.
