hammond router/planer

have you seen the router/planer? what was it used for? pics are posted on the owwm site

Hammond made a whole bunch of other items for the printing industry, my 1953 printing catalog has a number of pages with "other" hammond machines. To what I have seen, these other machines were not on the level of the glider, closer to the mercury or ben franklin.

They are currently still in business and make dust collection, grinding and buffing machinery.
