A while back I started thinking about making a blade arbor that could be hot swappable to the standard hammond faceplate. I finally got around to it and have been running it for about a year and am quite satisfied.
The standard faceplate is held in place with a drawbar of sorts. This allows you to remove it quickly while leaving the blade on it.
I machined these out of 4140 prehard.
Here are some pictures of what I came up with. Note that there is one mounted on the saw in the background.

Pete,
May be buying a G4B soon. How much is your arbor for woodworking blades?
Thanks in advance,

Pete, do you have any arbor adapters available at this time? My G4 has been in the queue forever, but is now getting close to seeing the light of day once again. One of your arbors adapters would be a great mod for it!
