Hello all.
I picked up a G100 earlier this year but really haven't gotten around restoring it yet. Been busy on an INCA 259.
Anyways, when I went to go pick it up I saw that the badge was unfortunately pretty faded and have been trying to figure out what to do about this once I got around to it.
Recently I've learned of the etching process from a thread on OWWM. See below. But first I need a file...so now I'm learning Inkscape. Here's the progress so far.

Your badge file looks great. Be sure to report back about the etching process. I am just about to try it for a Canadian drill press that I have.
BTW, the G100 and serial number are stamped on the aluminum plate so if you want you tag to look authentic I would leave that space blank and punch it in later with letter stamps.
