Interchangeability of Work Holder Clamp Assembly (G4/G100)

Hello,
I have been looking for the work holder assembly for a G100 for sometime. I do have the opportunity to purchase one for the G4. From the manuals and pics I can see that some of the castings are different but overall similar in design. I was hoping that someone here who has experience with both machines could weigh in if the G4 one could be used with the G100 without or with minimal modification. I do have access to metalworking machinery so some fabrication on my part would not be a problem, but I want to be sure that it would be worthwhile before making any purchases.

Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
