Cut Parallelism with Hammond G4B

Post by Mike Henry »

Not much action here lately so I thought I'd mentions some results I had recently with my Hammond G4B.

The project was to cut the bottom and sides for an open-topped acrylic box that is 5x6-1/2x7". The parts were cut oversize by about 0.05" to allow for cleanup on the mill. I was impressed to find that most of the parts were parallel to within 0.001-0.002".
