removing sliding table

Post by preston »

OK, so how do I get this thing off?
There's a stop near the front (approximately triangular cast-iron part held in place by two Allen-head bolts). I thought that'd do the trick, but no joy. Am I missing something easy?

Thanks,
Preston

Once you have the stop removed start bouncing the table towards you, it will start to move in its ways. Since you have a G4 the balls will be loose and each will fall out.

There should be two felt washers on the center balls and there will be a carriage that holds all the balls.

Got it. And amazingly enough (this is probably a first in my own personal life), it went back together easier than it came apart.

Thanks,
Preston
