I just bought a house, and a Hammond G100 (serial number 9212) came with the garage. Previous owner was a woodworker so I suppose he was going to use it for that, however I'm not into woodworking yet, but I do appreciate old machinery and don't want to turn this in for scrap metal if someone out there can give it a good home. It had $300 tag on it- not sure if it was from the garage sale they had, or from when he bought it. Fom what little research I did, I'd put it in the $150-200 range, but will entertain any offers.
I have pictures if you want to email me I'll send them rileydarren@johndeere.com . My description:
It does not appear to be converted to std wood blade,
Table slides back and forth but feels like it either has dry grease, or gunk in the bearings.
Has twin belt drive puleys, but no belt. one of the two alignment pins on the blade arbor assembly appears to be bent (where it bolts to the elevation arm)
Cast L-shaped Arm that holds the rod and top shield is broken where it holds the rod.
Motor may be 3 phase- three red wires coming from motor conduit.
Looks like someone along the line painted it indstrial grey- has not been restored.
I'm located outside of Augusta, GA., but do get to Atlanta, and Charlotte areas and would be willing to haul it that far if it helps it find a good home, [/img]
