For sale is one, 24" cresent planer. Ser # CA533 Rockwell/Cresent This planer is in good running condition. It has a 7.5 hp 3ph 220/440 direct drive main motor and a 1 hp 3 ph feed motor with a variable feed drive. It has powered bed feed rolls, a solid infeed roll and segmented chipbreaker. The head runs well with out any bearing noise. It has a 4 knife head with replacable blade inserts. The machine was removed from service last month and has not ever been stored outside. This is not some rusty old machine that has been outside for years and is only good for parts. It needs paint and some cleaning up. The feed roll bushings feel worn. Only cracked cast iron is above chipbreaker. (see photo 8"x2"piece is missing) Metal side doors are bent and dont close well, they are welded steel, as is the cover.
It is old, and not in pristine shape and it is priced accordingly.
Will load for free (estimated weight 3000lbs) I live 40 min. north of Springfield MA.
