1-2-3 Varnish, linseed oil and turps mix

Was getting ready to mix up a batch of 123 and cannot remember how many parts of what. I think I've got it right in the subject. Thanks for your help.

Rust, I'm not sure many of us do that. I know for myself it's all spray finishing these days. I would run a internet search for sam maloof finish- I believe that is the same as you are talking about.

Thanks Pete, I got the info. I know what you mean about things being different theses days. I used to hand cut dovetails. Anymore I use sheetrock screws. If it is a nice job, I'll put them in with a screwdriver instead of banging them in with a hammer!
