When we first showed up we actually had to sign a waiver in order to enter the condemned building. The shop was down in the basement and in rough shape. Crap everywhere. We scrounged around and came back with some nice goodies.
I bought the Unisaw for $35, a nice slowspeed stanley bench grinder for $20, and a bunch of small stuff like a metal handpunch, rosewood stanley brace and what not for an additional $5 bringing my total for the day to $60. I almost bought the other saw in the ad, but didn't feel like loading it..... four steps out of a basement.
Guzzi made out quite well as well. He bought a newish shopvac, a bench vise and two beautiful antique stanley levels for $12. The seller even through in a pencil sharpener on the house.....
