Emmert Vise

I bought an Emmert today. I have always regretted selling the ones I used to own so I feel good about fixing that guilt. This one seems to be in good shape despite the healthy serving of rust. Unfortunately it is missing the clamp to the bench. I have made one of these in the past, but think I may try to seek out a reproduction. I plan on emailing Bill Kerfoot, anyone have any other sources they know of?

If you have a patttern there is a place called cattails that will cast them. I found out the other day there is a small foundry near my home that dose ones twos piece work I will be trying to get in contact with to have a cpl mitergages for my 232

I have the number of a guy who bought all of emmerets' original molds. I think he is manufacturing new parts. call me later.

Nice score! I cant help with the cast parts but I am curious what kind of bench you will mount it to?

I have found a couple of leads in looking for parts.

I am following guzziguys' lead on the contact he met, so far the phone number has only yielded a full mailbox. If I find something of consequence I will post it.
