Walker Turner/Rockwell 20” Wood/Metal Bandsaw 28-500

I am working on a Walker Turner/Rockwell/Delta 20” Wood and Metal Bandsaw model 28-500. This looks to be pretty similar to the 28-365. Does anyone know the difference? Most parts appear to be there. The gear box is stuck in high speed (1:1ratio between 13”dia pulley and lower wheel) so I plan to tak...

Hi Noah, Yes, this is a great jointer to use. The cast iron base makes it a smooth running design. I love it. There are only 2 bearing with the motor cantilevered off the back bearing. This reduces losses and vibration but makes dissassembly a little more challenging. Not a big deal though. It is al...

Oliver 144 8” jointer rebuild

Greetings junkies, I recently purchased an 8” Oliver 144 jointer with a direct drive 1hp 3ph motor from a fellow machine junkie member. WTB 6" or 8" jointer

Hello,
I am looking for a good quality 6" or 8" jointer within a couple hours of Schenectady, NY. It does not need to be in great shape. Price below $400 depending on size and condition. I do not want a craftsman.
Thanks!
Curt

FS - Van Norman No 12 Mill, Sold, located Schenectady, NY

Sold, Van Norman No 12 milling machine. This machine was made in 1943 (based on info I found on the web). It is in my shop near Schenectady, NY. Good news: This mill does vertical and horizontal and any angle in between. It is smaller than a Bridgeport but more rigid. The mill is in good working con...
