Oliver Lathe Question

Hi Pete, some guy is selling an Oliver Lathe down here for $400
model 159M six foot bed built in the 40's

Do you know how much one of these should go for? or simply put if I buy it can I sell it for more money?

Those badboys are a bit over-populated- a hard sell. The only ones that are worth anything are the patternamkers version. So if it has a carriage I would consider it. If you need a lathe I would consider it, It's certainly a fair price- dependant on condition, but if you are simply looking to flip it at a profit I would hold off
