I just picked up a nice 14" Delta bandsaw in good shape off Craigs List. The seller was local. Easy transaction. Thanks to diamond saw dave for nudging me to take a look. Here it is next to the Taiwan made 14" AMT saw that it is replacing. The AMT worked well enough for me for two years but it does not compare to the delta.
The saw is in good shape and is ready for use. Everything works and the tires are in good. I think the ½ hp motor is a bit wimpy so I plan to change it out with a 1 hp.
I know it is not the most interesting or unique machine but it is an improvement until I have space for something bigger.
