Hello, I just joined the group because I recently bought a TrimOSaw, largely based on what I read here. It is really fantastic. I want to remove/adjust the trimmer blades. I loosened the large set screw on the perimeter of the face plate of one of them but I can't budge the blade. I tried gently tapping the back end with a drift but it wouldn't move. I didn't want to risk damaging or misaligning the face plate or bending the shaft so I quit. I was going to try to remove the face plate but somehow my hex wrench kit didn't have the right size for the screws. What size wrench is required for these? Can someone tell me how to get the blades out? Thanks for any help.
OK. Never mind. I found out how to do this in the two-page instruction sheet, G-157, that applies to my model, posted elsewhere on this forum. You have to tap down on the wrench to displace the locks downward (toward the center of the arbor). That loosens 'em so you can move/remove the trimmer blades. Cool! I might as well leave this here for anyone else having the same problem (not reading the instructions!).
How do I adjust/remove the trimmer blades?

Yes, a benchtop model so it's very portable. I was easily able to transport it in a mini-van. The seller separated the saw from the cabinet. The main unit is still heavy but nothing like a floor model would be. It has all the capabilities of the heavy floor models though I supect.Sweet, a benchtop glider- of the g-100 era. I owned one for a while- very cute machines. Please post a picture. You will love the saw.
Almost forgot, welcome to the forum and congrats on the saw.
