Information on old hand planes?

Post by Jeff »

A guy at work has a few old Stanley planes and was wondering where he'd look to find information on when they may have been built? Does anyone have a link, or know of a text, that would discuss the history of Stanley planes?

Thanks. - Jeff

There is a website by the name of Patricks' blood and gore that has a pretty thorough description of all the planes made by Stanley. Hope this helps.
