Looking good. thanks for the pics. Curious if you plan on walling off the metal working machines?

Also curious how you are planning layout- Do you have a plan with little movable drawings? or are you working with them in the building to what seems to work in real life?

Hi Pete...I had help with the setting up of the machines. Thouser sent me a scaled drawing of what should go whre. He pretty much knew what I had and since he has a working shop I ask him for help so i put them on the floor by mesuements.

You southbend is identical to the one I owned prior to my cinci. That tube base with drawers brings back some memories. You will be very happy with how much you can do with it. I would definitely get an axa sized quick change toolpost- perfect for that lathe.

Mystry,

Looks good. I am curious How big of a building did you put up to house all of the machines? I like the window and the part of the building that lets light through as well. Also wondering if you are gonna seperate the metal machines from the wood ones. I have been thinking a lot about that lately that they need seperated once i get a shop big enough. Regardless..godd on ya looks like you are coming along nicely!!

Hi Ross,
Its a 30X40 building. I still have the 232 Oliver to go in it and the 12" Northfield also. I am thinking I will make covers for them and not wall them off unless it gets to be a problem and then I will add a 12' section to one side and wall that off. I will be putting the compressor and the dust system on the outside of the building next summer but will use it inside for a while.

Hi Guys,
I got the work last night. I have a large poll standing in my yard with 3,,,count em 1, 2, 3, canisters on it. A large power line running down the side under ground and reaperaing in the panel box in my shop.
WOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO.....Its Christmas time in Tennessee.
AND to beat it all one of the guys at work wanted to trade weekends off so I get to fire up some of those machines I have been moveing and lugging around all summer. The Bridgeport it tooled along with the lathe. I recieved saw blades Wed. All I need to do is drop a line for the Oliver and, with a shaking finger, hit the "ON" switch.
Now I get to do some serious work....Oh by the way gyus. I will be adding a 20X24 addition to my shop to house the metal working machines.
Reg......seriously though about callin in today at work
