Hey Jim, I skipped the primer, went straight to paint. It would have been a better job to use a high grade sand-able primer. I do accept that in the end there has to be some sort of limits!
My primer experience is that when machines get scratched I prefer not to see primer.
DP, thanks! Glad I could entertain. But, I think I will take better care of the saw than the previous owners!
