WTB: 5hp 3Ø motor 220v 1800 rpm

The title pretty much says it all. I gave away the exact motor I needed three years ago. I don't think I want to pay shipping for a beast such as this, so I am beating the usual bushes locally. Anyone have something?

Thanks for the reply dude- I actually located one quite locally- about 3 miles down the road.

Now, if any one needs a 5hp 550 volt motor that is humongous....... guess i'll be waiting for scrap prices to creep up again- too bad though, this thing is minty.

Hey Hutch, I bought a replacement- ended up finding one via craigslist that was 3 miles down the road. It is installed and the mill is up and running.

I would love to see the 550 volt motor go to a good home. If you are interested, I can snap a pic. It is a beast, but in near perfect condition, remarkable since it is about 65 years old. It is free for the taking, of course!
