what are these high starting prices. This buyer obviously has no confidence in ebay, or his merchandise.

With heavy items, I like to make it worth my while, The surprise can still come, just not worth the disapointment.

The prices seem reasonable to me, unless one is an extreme bottom feeder. For them there are always flea markets, garage sales, estate sales, and live auctions. Those all take a fair amount of time, though.
