Still a paper weight at this point but getting closer. Got it running but motor guy said it was run really hot at one time. He said it was wound 220 so that is good. I am thinking it might have had 440 power going to it even though it is wound 220. I really do not know at this point. Motor is still out. Seems like it has sealed bearings in the front and open in the back. It had grease in the front housing but I so not see how it is getting to the bearings. They seem completely sealed. May have been changed in the past but still greased by someone else? The back bearings are open and you can see the bearings. Any input?
Promised a few pictures of J250. Hope they come out.

Nice saw, you will be very happy once it is running.
It sounds like the bearings were replaced at some point- At least the front one. I assume you are replacing them, when you do, you can pop the shield off the face of the bearing that will be exposed to the grease, then your grease will be able to get where it matters.
My fingers are crossed that your motor will be happy and functional without too much work.
