I just bought a Craftsman 6-1/8" jointer from a local Craig's list ad. It probably dates from the 80's and seems to be in pretty decent shape with no major rust and just a bit of staining. The sheet metal legs are pretty wobbly and the table saw elevating casters are pretty much a joke, but the motor/cutter head turns smoothly and the blades seem reasonably sharp. It came with an original manual that I'll be scanning and can provide in case anyone wants a copy. The model number is 113.206801 for the jointer itself and 113.206932 for the jointer, motor, and stand.
I'm not much of a wood worker so this will probably do me fine and nothing in the way of an older Delta or Powermatic jointer has turned up locally in the searches I've run during the past year or so on Ebay, Craig's list and a few other sites.
Now that you've had a chance to snicker, will I regret this purchase? At $125, I figure there wasn't much to lose and if past experience is any indication a nice Delta or Powermatic will turn up any day now.

Hi Mike,
I don't think many of us have too much experience with craftsman stuff. The owwm.org forum seems to have more knowledgeable folks on the craftsman stuff. You might try posting over there to get more info. Sorry to be of no help, but congrats on the jointer, $125 is easy money for any machine.

Hi Pete,
I did some browsing in the OWWM archives and the publications section, which was helpful. The bed is short and the adjustments a bit mickey mouse but the bed is in good shape. Once it warms up a bit I'll give a try in the garage.
BTW, what sort of wax do folks use to protect the tables, etc. on WW tools?
