That is the same model drill press I just brought home. This one has a diffent table set up then the one I have but other then that is it just about identical. It is a very stout machine.

Ok I need to make a 60 degree cut into a board about 5 feet long. Not very deep. I am thinking The best solution is to buy a 60 degree router bit and chuck it into the shaper and run the board down it? Any other thoughts or easier ways perhaps?? Well this is what I did for the hand wheels. I have a buffer(cheap and too fast from harbor freight) I buffed out the wheels on that ...didnt take too much time I used a pretty coarse compuond too. then finished them with a finer compound. Ok she is all finished and back together. I need to run some wiring yet but other then that all clean and pretty. Just an update, havent had a lot of time to work on this project but I need to since its clogging up my space in the shop. Pete, Funny you mention the legs being the same. I thought that and looked at the pic of your drill press rebuild. Reason I looked was to see if your legs had two holes in the top too and they do. Upon further inspection they are identical near as I can tell. I would assume they made the mold and us...
